FIRST TIME WRITING IN A BLOG

Hai all, my name is Lia. 

This is my first time writing on such a blog. I have never written anything before, like diaries, especially in English. I also did not get any formal education from school on how to write a good essay in English because I am not from an international school. So, please apologise for my grammatical errors. You can always press your home button or X button or anything you want.

So, why did I start to write in English? First, I want to learn how to write an essay well. Many people (including my teacher) said you need to get more exercise if you want to excel in English. English is about practice, practice, and practice. Even though you don't know how to write it, just at least try it, and this is my first try.  I believe if I practice a lot, my English skills will improve. So, this is my way to improve my writing skills. Second, I see that many people quickly excel in their English. Sometimes, I am not confident and confused; why is it really easy to master English while I am not, though I have already learned a lot? But I will not give up because I believe I can if many people can do it.

And what do I feel about starting writing? 

First, I am confused, of course. I don't know what I want to write, and it's not easy to write even a sentence. I also need to think about what I will write. I am not a good storyteller; I only wrote at school for my tasks. Outside, I didn't write anything. So, this writing is anything that pops up in my mind 😅. Second, sometimes I need to search or research how to write a blog, though I am lazy and want to keep this original without copying other blogs 😁.

So, what are my activities now?

First, I am currently unemployed because I resigned from my company this January and moved back home. Before that, I worked at a shipping company in Surabaya for two years. Now, I help my family run my family business and learn English.

Why did I make that decision?

I want to pursue my dream because I want to do something this year (not being married, of course, because I am not ready yet). So, I need to prepare both mentally and physically 😋. Hence, this dream relates to my English. I will explain in other episodes of this blog ya!!
